My work as creative director at the Sufi magazine started in January 2012. It is a biannual publication, published by editorial Nur. The content of the magazine are mainly essays, poetry and short narratives about philosophical and mystical subjects. Given that, the design has more artistic, traditional and elegant characteristics. Due to the fact that this is a non-lucrative project and that the benefits are assigned to charitable projects, the interior of this publication is entirely printed in black and white in order to avoid additional costs. This adds a certain difficulty to the designing and the choice of images, which is one of my responsibilities a part from the graphic design.
